Sempergreen® was founded in 1996 in Zeist. Meanwhile, the company has become
the largest supplier of vegetated mats for roofs, roof terraces, slopes, roundabouts,
central reservations and land cover.
Sempergreen® has experience with the application of vertical green from as early as
1997. This resulted in the launch of a new company in 2009: Sempergreen®
Vertical Systems.
The company is a supplier of vertical systems for green office buildings, blooming
vertical gardens, vegetated fences or green noise barriers. With a team of thirty
permanent employees, Sempergreen® supplies vegetated mats and vertical systems
grown in their own nursery throughout Europe.
Sempergreen® also has a branch in the United States.
